Hyde Park town was opened at 27 Dec,2010 at noon due to the overnight snow storm.
Hyde Park Supervisor Tom Martino said at 11:30 a.m that "We just want to give everybody a chance to dig themselves out."
The town opens normally at 8:30 a.m but clerks office remains open until 4:00 p.m.
A special board meeting had been called out at 4383 Route 9 in town hall and board plans to enact a local law giving the town the ability to issue dogs tags and licenses. Beginning in 2011 New York State is no longer regulating dog licensing.
